Pamela Weston explains her assisted suicide

Personal account of her reasons for deciding to die written before her death at the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland (John Arlidge and Sarah-Kate Templeton, The Sunday Times 20 September 2009)

An extract from Pamela Weston’s personal account of her reasons for deciding to die written before her death at the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland, first published in The Sunday Times, 20 September 2009.

“I’m writing this in September 2009. I have decided to go to the Dignitas Clinic in Switzerland to commit assisted suicide …

… I’ve had a wonderful, happy life. Now it’s over. What I want now is for campaigners, such as Action for M.E, to use my story to push the Government hard on medical research”
