Land Ethic of Aldo Leopold

Aldo Leopold’s compelling essay, The Land Ethic, argues for conservation and is the conclusion to his book, A Sand County Almanac (1949).

All ethics evolved so far rest upon a single premise: that the individual is a member of a community of interdependent parts.
